Marshall Magnet Elementary School Garden Project

With support from Flagstaff Youth Gardens, parents and teachers at Marshall School started a vegetable, herb and flower garden for classroom use, expanded the native plant garden and planted a spring bulb display to beautify the parking area. The school received a passive solar greenhouse from Coconino Community College Sustainable Building Project in April 2007. Now in its third year, The Marshall School Garden Project continues to beautify the school and make plants, gardening and growing healthy foods and bodies an ongoing part of Marshall School life. If you’d like to help, contact Shelly Craig.
