The nursery at Mountain Meadow Farm — specializing in “edible landscapes”Environmental Horticulturist Jan Busco — author of Native Plants for High-Elevation Western Gardens and How to Get Started in Southwest Gardening — established her plant nursery at our bioshelter in 2004. Though we miss her presence here at the farm, we are happy for Jan in her new position as Horticulturist at Grand Canyon National Park. She is still selling plants and consulting from her home. Everyone has learned so much from Jan over the years – we feel so grateful! Her email is: janicebusco@gmail.com. Phone 774-3584. All plants are grown in our state-of-the-art Bioshelter without petrochemical pesticides or fertilizers using locally sustainable agriculture practices. We produce annual and perennial food starts, culinary and medicinal herbs, hard-to-find edible and useful plants, low-water-use plants, native and firescaping plants, as well as ground covers and plants for birds and wildlife.
